It all started in lockdown! We had travelled South East Asia and Australia from 2016 to 2018 and loved all the food we ate – but the thing we ate most was the infamous bánh mì in Vietnam. For breakfast and for lunch, as well as a snack, we couldn’t get enough!
After returning to the UK we found we couldn’t get our hands on a bánh mì without heading to London. It seemed obvious to set up Brúm Mì with Sam. We spent a lot of the summer making as much delicious food as we could and began trading at local Birmingham events such as Digbeth Dining Club shortly after. From there we found our new home at The Dark Horse pub in Moseley – one of our favourite spots for a quality craft beer – and now we have our own! We couldn’t be happier partnering with such a beloved local pub and having a place to try out new ideas whilst slinging out our bangin’ bánh mìs!
Now we travel around the UK bringing our bangin’ bánh mìs and barbecue to street food events near you!
